Splendour in the Grass Map

OH. Four years of muddying our boots at the forum tent at Splendour and Women of Letters have been INVITED BACK to share our love of letter-writing with new friends and old plus the occasional space cadet staggering back to his tent after a night on the 'sherberts'. On Saturday, July 26th at TEN O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING (charge and set your iCals, comrades) WoL co-curators MICHAELA MCGUIRE and MARIEKE HARDY will bring together AN ALL FEMALE LINEUP onstage at the Forum for the first time ever: GOSSLING LAUREN MAYBERRY (CVRCHES) COURTNEY BARNETT NKECHI ANELE (SASKWATCH) JENNIFER BOYCE (BALL PARK MUSIC) ALICE FRASER GENEVIEVE FRICKER LIZ DRUMMOND (LITTLE MAY) These fine troubadours will each be penning, in Splendour WoL tradition, 'A Letter to the song I wish I'd written'. Some of them (we hope) will sing. Others will rush onstage late, clutching a bottle of Smirnoff Black. Bless their hedonistic hearts. Such frivolity! Such frolics! WAKE UP AND JOIN US IT WILL BE AWESOME. http://splendourinthegrass.com/
